Factchequeado is one of 10 organizations that will be part of the artificial intelligence (AI) literacy training and research cohort, a project that will bring together teams from different newsrooms to work on educating their communities about AI.
The purpose of this program is to support journalists in educating their audiences about the use, implications, and challenges of artificial intelligence applied to journalism. Under this initiative, participating media outlets will develop public explanations about AI and accompany those publications with research aimed at measuring their audiences' reactions.
As a member of the cohort, Factchequeado will produce and measure the impact of content (cards and videos) for social media in Spanish and will receive $2,000 in funding from Trusting News.
This work is part of Trusting News' efforts to help journalists earn the trust of news consumers. Research by Trusting News shows that people want to be educated about AI.
