Factchequeado received support from the Jonathan Logan Family Foundation to combat the information gap and misinformation surrounding the 2024 U.S. elections in Spanish-speaking communities within key states (Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania). The project includes partnerships with local and national media, identifying emerging trends of electoral misinformation targeting Latino communities, producing verified and engaging election-related content in Spanish, and exploring various formats to improve access to information for Latinos.
The Logan Foundation, empowering work that changes the world, approved a grant of $177,650 through the fiscal sponsor, the International Center for Journalists to support Factchequeado's work in this important effort.
